    The CNSF Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional and sustained commitment to the Federation and its member societies. Recipients demonstrate deep service in governance, education, Congress planning, or advocacy activities.

    Dr. J. David Spence

    Dr. Spence was a world-renowned neurologist and researcher, and a professor at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. He was the founder of the Stroke Prevention and Atherosclerosis Research Centre.

Membership

Six Member Societies

The Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation (CNSF) is an umbrella organization representing six National Specialty Societies. These organizations form the membership of the Federation and share a common interest in the functions and disorders of the brain and nervous system.

Accreditation

Accredited CPD Provider

As an Accredited CPD Provider of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the CNSF can review and accredit Section 1 and Section 3 (Self-Assessment Program & Simulation) activities and can engage in co-development projects with non-physician organizations. Continuing professional development is a cornerstone of the success of the individual practitioner, the profession and the Member Societies.
